FACIAL MASSAGE TIPS FOR BEGINNERS

This past year has been the year I fell in love with facial massage and as a beginner there are a lot of things that I have learned in the past few months, so I wanted to write this blog post at this very moment, being a newbie, and not knowing a whole lot about facial massage,

And if you are just beginning I know you might be in the same place that I am, and right now the very basics will be best, for the more I keep learning about facial massage the more I see that there are so many different techniques and approaches that it can get overwhelming, so this will be a few simple tips to get you started, so let's get detoxing, de-stressing and giving our skin a nice lift!

Facial massage is by far one of my favorite things to do with the the facial oil , it's such an inexpensive way to treat yourself, and it can be squeezed into whatever schedule you have,

If you don't have a lot of time you can do a quick facial massage that still has amazing benefits, and if you have some time to spare you can sit down and indulge in a really nice relaxing session that will leave your skin glowing!

Start with Forehead: Using the pads of your fingers, glide from the center of your forehead outward toward your temples. This helps release tension and smooth fine lines.

Then your eyes: Gently press along your brow bone and under your eyes with your fingers, moving in a circular motion. This encourages lymphatic flow and reduces puffiness.

Your cheeks come after: sweep your fingers upward and outward from the sides of your nose toward your ears. Use firm but gentle pressure. This helps lift and improve circulation.

And lastly your jawline: make a hook shape with your index fingers and thumbs, starting at the center of your chin and gliding outward along your jaw. This relieves tightness and encourages sculpting.

Don't forget behind your ears and down your neck


This is where the lymph drains. Use gentle downward strokes behind your ears and along the sides of your neck to support detox and reduce buildup.

And you are done!

If you want to get started with facial massage there are some simple things you have to remember:

  • Start with Clean Hands and a clean face,
  • Grab your favorite facial oil or ours!
  •  massage upwards and in circular motions
  • use the gentle pressure( you don't want to tug on your skin because that can lead to wrinkles and saggy skin)


Facial massage can be quick and relaxing but you it can also be therapeutical and healing if you learn a little bit more about lymphatic drainage and how you can help your skin detox by stimulating the lymphatic nodes and vessels so that the toxins in your body can flush out,
