I'm pretty sure you know that fruits are good for your face,
But do you know how to actually get it ON your face?
We would all really like to take advantage of all the awesome benefits of fresh fruits on your skin, but a lot of us either don't know which fruits you should be using, how, how long or, you actually do know and just can't seem to be able to set aside the extra time to pamper yourself....am I right?
Well then, I have been taking some extra notes on my own experiments with fruits as face masks and I want to share with you ways in which you can also make it work and enjoy the awesomeness of fruits both on the inside and outside of your body.....
I am starting this series of videos and blogs called "The Fruit Lab" where I will help you achieve better skin with something as simple as a weekly fruit mask, which is inexpensive, all natural and most importantly, Effective!
It's going be very entertaining as I tell you all about the ways I failed and which fruits are just MESSY, but it will also be so valuable to learn which fruits suit your skin type and what are the best ways to work with them!
Sooo.... let me tell you a little bit about
First, they are awesome.
Second, they are loaded with vitamins, minerals and antioxidants.
Third, after putting on a peach mask you can immediately tell your skin feels and looks more vibrant and your pores smaller, that's from the vitamin C that's got your back when it comes to dark circles and pimples and fine lines!
Fourth, that vitamin c also acts as a great exfoliator that helps lift dead skin, and if you have been listening to me at all lately, you will know that I am a firm believer in constant, gentle exfoliation, it's the key to great skin really.
Fifth, peaches are awesome , let's repeat that!
Sixth, did you know that they are also helpful at preventing damage from UV rays?? Yup, if you spend a lot of time in the sun, you and peaches should be BFFs.
All of that vitamin A, Vitamin C, Vitamin K, beta carotene, potassium and magnesium will help your skin fight the oxidative damage caused by free radicals in our body,(and some studies have even said that it can help against various skin cancers)
Seventh, it's a great moisturizer not only for dry skin, but oily skin as well!
So I found that Peach was really easy to get on my face, you could do this in many different ways:
You can use the juice with a cotton ball to give your skin some moisture and glow,
Rub a peach on your face if you don't have juice available,
Or you can mix with the clay mask for a really nice treatment that can "feed"your skin all the good nutrients it needs!
.And that's exactly what I did in the picture, mashed Peaches and the Clay and oats mask, mixing a fruit puree with a clay masks really helps it to stick to my face better and makes it less messy! I hope you try it out!
