MY STORY
Discovering the religion my heart had been searching for all my life was one of the most beautiful moments I've ever experienced.
But then came the practical questions. How do I align this new life with everything, including something as everyday as getting ready in the morning?
In many areas, practicing Islam was made easier by the wealth of information available. But one area was surprisingly difficult to navigate: makeup and skincare.
Finding halal, wudhu-friendly makeup that actually worked ( and that also took care of my skin) felt almost impossible. I had acne, I wanted coverage, and I kept hitting dead ends. So I did what I always do when I can't find an answer: I figured it out myself.
I started reading. About mineral makeup, about ingredients, about undertones and formulas and what actually allows water to reach the skin during wudhu. And somewhere in all that research, Claudia Nour was born.
